What we do

We're passionate about civil engineering and the vast range of projects and contractors we get to work with on some of UK's largest and most complex projects as well as regional minor schemes. We take the time to visit these projects in order to get a thorough understanding of the work, company and people involved so we can ensure we find you the right person or the right role.

Here are some of the core areas of the industry and why we love to recruit in them!

Highways

Turning highway design plans into reality by building roads, bridges, tunnels to improve traffic flow and safety. We support ongoing highway maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and resurfacing, ensuring the road's safety and functionality, ultimately extending its lifespan and reducing accidents.

Water

An industry being talked about is water-related infrastructure like reservoirs, and water treatment plants, ensuring a stable supply of clean water for various purposes while considering environmental impacts by building state of the art sewage treatment facilities which are maintained through the Asset Management Plans.

Coastal

Coastal civil engineering involves the design and construction of structures and measures to protect coastlines from erosion, storm surges and rising sea levels. This is done building seawalls, breakwaters, and revetments, as well as beach nourishment projects to preserve coastal ecosystems and safeguard coastal communities.

Environmental

Environmental civil engineering focuses on developing sustainable solutions to address environmental challenges. It includes wastewater treatment systems, pollution control measures, renewable energy projects, and environmental impact assessments to protect ecosystems, and minimise human impact on the environment.

Power

We focus on the construction, and maintenance of energy-related infrastructure. This includes power plants, transmission lines, substations, and renewable energy projects like solar and wind farms. Engineers work to ensure a reliable energy supply, optimise energy efficiency, and incorporate sustainable practices to meet the growing demand.

Aviation

This encompasses the design, construction, and maintenance of airport infrastructure. Including runways, taxiways, aprons, terminal buildings, and air traffic control facilities. Engineers ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with aviation regulations, enabling smooth and secure air travel operations.

Groundworks

The essential foundation and preparation work for construction projects such as schools and hospitals. Civil engineers undertake site clearance, excavation, foundations, and utility installations. They ensure proper site leveling, drainage systems, and substructures to provide a stable and safe platform for buildings and infrastructure.
