Site Agent

We are working with a main contractor who are recruiting a Site Agent for highways and structures projects in the local area. The contractor is one of the country’s largest and is renowned for their culture, excellence in delivery and development of people. Their turnover is set to pass £1.6bn with projects thriving in highways, environment and construction across the country.

They have a secure workload in the Oxfordshire region working with Oxfordshire County Council on projects up to £50m building new roads and bridges as well as one-off specialist projects on High Speed 2. The workload has continued to grow over the last 5 years’ and their local relationship can guarantee you long term work close to home.

One of the upcoming projects you will be involved in is a £15m road widening scheme, which includes widening an existing structure as well as improving the local road layout to reduce emissions.

Site Agent duties include:
• Writing risk assessments and method statements
• Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN
• Overall responsibility of health and safety
• Managing design and quality of the project
• Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
